Matt joined our team here at Stokes in 2017. Matt is a hospitality professional with a broad range of food & beverage management. He is a native of Omaha where he first was immersed into the face-paced food & beer culture as Owner of Billy Frogg’s Grill and Bar after graduating from the University of Nebraska at Omaha.

Matt has had a host of experience at some of the finest properties across our city including General Manager at Anthony’s Steakhouse and as an Independent Business Owner, Matt has seen both sides of the industry and brings that experience to Stokes on a daily basis. Matt’s catering expertise has given Stokes a strategic advantage in providing catering to the metro areas many functions, some as large as 1,200.  

Matt holds a degree in Organizational Communications and Music. In addition to his education and his broad range of experiences, Matt brings an excitement and joy of hospitality and modern culinary culture balanced with a deep respect of the history of food and beverages.  Matt has been Omaha Restaurant Association President and Share Our Strength/Taste of the Nation/Progressive Dinner/Chef’s Night Out Co-Chair. Matt has seen and done it!
